Meet Zoe Sky Jordan
“...a sleek, modern sound that’s still tinged with nostalgia.”
Zoe Sky Jordan is an alternative singer-songwriter born and raised in Toronto. Zoe's music has been featured on dozens of shows including Riverdale, Lost Girl, Degrassi:TNG, and Switched at Birth. Her first album 'TOPIARY' was produced by Grammy winning producer Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, MUNA). After 5 years in Nashville Zoe returned to Toronto during the pandemic, where she penned 'Selfish'. The album is inspired by the story of her mom singer-songwriter Amy Sky's life after her breakout hit 'I Will Take Care of You'. "Selfish" is about female stereotypes and tables the impossibility of "having it all". Zoe is known for writing songs about female relationships and live shows that oscillate between humour and tenderness. 'Selfish' was recorded with musicians from Hand Habits, Dijon, Ryan Beatty, Taylor Swift and Sufjan Steven's bands. On the merit of 'Selfish' Zoe signed with Daytripper Publishing and shared the stage with acts like Ken Yates, Molly Pardon, Jenny O and Boy Golden.
